DEMO DOCUMENTATION
PIDIM ProTrack
Interactive portfolio demonstration · November 2026 simulated scenario
Overview & access
Open /demo, choose Administrator, Project Manager or Field Officer, and explore the workspace. No account or password is needed. Role selection is a simulation, not production authentication. Reloading the page or Reset demo restores the starting data.
Interactive modules
- Overview: approved/pending entry counts, project comparison, daily submission trend and monthly task progress.
- Daily entry: assigned tasks, validated non-negative targets and achievements, notes, staff review requirement and automatic manager approval.
- Entry history: searchable status-filtered records, pagination and Excel export.
- Review: project-scoped approvals, return for correction, review notes and status history.
- Monthly plans: employee task targets, manager-set target locks and achievements from approved daily entries.
- Project targets: monthly/overall targets, manual achievements, approved daily totals, task creation, hide/restore and Excel export.
- Projects and employees: administrator add/edit, staff codes and head-office classification.
- Designations & tasks: shared task pool, multiple designation assignments, task editing and order controls.
- Notices: create project notices and toggle read state.
Real structure, simulated transactions
The demo uses the real PIDIM ProTrack organizational configuration: the SMART Project (Poultry sub-sector), its six designations, 61 configured tasks with their designation assignments, eight real officials including two head-office officers, and the configured monthly and overall project targets. Daily submissions, achievements, monthly plans, review actions and notices are simulated in the browser and clearly labelled DEMO DATA – SIMULATED TRANSACTIONS. No production transactions, credentials, phone numbers, beneficiary records or attachment URLs are copied. The fieldwork photograph is generated illustrative imagery.
Security & storage
Demo changes exist only in the current browser tab’s memory. The demo does not create accounts, call production data services, read the production query cache or change database records. Production authentication, realtime, theme/language account syncing and install/update prompts are not mounted on demo pages. Database changes: none. Exports contain only the simulated records in view.
Simulated & excluded features
Role permissions, approvals, review history and notice reads are locally simulated. They are not evidence of deployed production access controls. Real signup, password recovery, account linking, role-permission administration, file attachments, email delivery, realtime multi-user collaboration and production-wide audit logs are not included. Task ordering uses accessible arrow controls rather than drag-and-drop. Monthly plan approval is not added: the existing monthly-plan model has no separate approval status.
Important limitations
Daily, monthly and project target values are separate planning systems; the demo does not imply that they automatically reconcile. Counts compare entries rather than sum incompatible task units. Search applies to record modules, not the aggregate dashboard. Project target rows use the selected project, or the first visible project when All projects is selected. Head-office records remain in the employee directory but are excluded from performance and entry selection. Demo rules reproduce core workflows, not every production permission override or historical edge case.
Deployment
The demo uses the existing React, TanStack Start, Tailwind, Recharts and SheetJS stack. Publish the updated application to make the demo public at https://www.pidimprotrack.pro.bd/demo. No separate database, credential or paid API is required. Open the demo directly or in a new tab rather than carrying an already-active production workspace into it.
Verification report
The project’s DEMO_REPORT.md records the source inventory, automated rule checks, browser workflows and limitations. Demo validation does not certify every existing production workflow.
